Flow Yoga is excited to announce our Introduction to Yoga Nidra (Yoga for Sleep) course facilitated by Odona Farska.
Beginning on Thursday 26th May and running weekly over four weeks, this intimate course will give you a comprehensive exploration of the practice of Yoga Nidra led by Odona who has 20 years if experience in this field.
Yoga Nidra, also known as Hypnogogic Sleep is a state between sleep and wakefulness without loss of awareness, a systematic method of inducing complete mental, emotional and physical relaxation. The practise is a non-movement based, guided meditation technique that provides the benefits of a deep sleep in a 40 minute session.
If you have trouble sleeping, relaxing or suffering from stress, this form of meditation may be perfect for you. During the practice you will be lying down, covered in a warm blanket and follow Odona’s instructions as you move through a deeply relaxing mental journey.
You are not required to have any experience with Yoga Nidra or other forms of meditation to join this course. We recommend wearing warm, comfortable clothing (yoga wear not required) as your body temperature drops during the practise.
Following our practise, we will share tea and lights snacks at our communal table.
