Join Odona Farska and Tony Curran for a morning of gentle hatha flow yoga, followed by a life drawing workshop to come back to the present moment.

And as the sun streams into the studio, we will move through the spine, breathe, draw and laugh…so we can feel fully alive and perhaps a little inspired!

We will go through gentle hatha yoga sequence followed by drawing session with Tony Curran. In this class we use life drawing to come back to the present moment. Students learn to build focused attention (drishti) through a simple but powerful drawing strategy that can be the basis of mediation, an art practice and a whole lot more. This class is suitable for beginners as well as expert artists.

Tony Curran is a Canberra-based artist working between drawing and painting in both digital and traditional media. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and residencies in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Wagga Wagga and was a finalist in the Archibald Prize in 2015. Tony holds a PhD in Fine Art from Charles Sturt University and teaches life drawing, painting and art history at the ANU School of Art & Design.
